President

The President shall preside at all meetings of his chapter, all extra sessions, appoint committees, decide in case of tie votes, impose all fines, fill vacancies arising from temporary absence of officers, and sign all papers requiring authentication. He shall have authority to suspend from a chapter meeting any member for conduct unworthy of a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. The President shall preside over the IFC representative in addition to the executive committee.

Vice President of Programming

The Vice President of Programming is responsible for the planning and execution of the chapter’s events and functions. He is the head of the programming cabinet and works to ensure his brothers have a balanced, values-based experience.  The top priorities of the vice president of programming are to:

  • Appoint qualified members to the programming committee, including but not limited to an events chairman, intramural director and service learning chairman.
  • Manage and facilitate the chapter’s planning of a calendar for the year.
  • Ensure all risk management policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Act as the ritualistic vice president for the chapter.
  • Set and work to achieve SMART Goals (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and timely).

Connor Sauley (contact)
Vice President of Finance

The Vice President of Finance shall be the chairman of the finance cabinet which may include the budget chairman, kitchen director, and house chairman. The finance cabinet shall collect all dues and other charges due from the members to the undergraduate chapter, and the Vice President of Finance shall make disbursements subject to the order of the Chapter President or the Alumni and Volunteer Corporation.

Vice President of Membership Development

The Vice President of Member Development oversees the development experience of each brother providing support and structure during a crucial part of their lives.  Managing the chapter’s membership experience by implementing the Balanced Man Program is the keystone of the role, providing a positive fraternal experience and ensuring strong chapter leadership and operations. The VPMD ensures that our Founder’s vision lives on day in, day out, at every one of our chapters.

Vice President of Recruitment

The Vice President of Recruitment drives the quantity and quality of a chapter’s membership. By successfully recruiting the best men on campus, he ensures a great fraternity experience for his brothers and the long-term success of his chapter. It is up to the Vice President of Recruitment to organize and execute the process of year-round, values-based recruitment for his chapter.


Jeremiah Ohlman (contact)
Vice President of Communications

The Vice President of Communications shall be chairman of the communications cabinet which may include the director of alumni operations and relations, public relations director, historian, and technology chairman. He shall act to strengthen relationships with alumni and communicate the positive actions of the chapter to the campus community and Headquarters while preserving the history of the chapter. The vice president of communications shall maintain the membership records of the chapter in a form prescribed by the National Board of Directors, and he shall keep record of the history of the chapter. He shall call the roll and keep the minutes of each meeting. He shall have charge of the seal, books, papers, and records of the chapter, except those in the charge of other officers. He shall conduct all correspondence and bring all legislation before the chapter.

Balanced Man Scholarship Chair

The Balanced Man Scholarship Chair is responsible for interviewing applications for the Balanced Man Scholarship and programing the scholarship banquet.


Justin Gibson (contact)
Vice President of RLC

The Vice President of Residental Learning Community (RLC) is responsible for leading the charge to have Nebraska Beta recognized as an RLC Chapter by the National Fraternity.
